THE STALKING SKIES In the Drexel Institute Dr. Pavaar tells Dudley Soames that he will need some more micro-surgeries before being able to start physical therapy. To Soames this is all for naught because it is impossible to ever turn his head back around. In the oldest section of Blüdhaven Nightwing catches two men who are hunting somebody. The silhouette of the creature makes Dick think its Batman, but instead he gets into a short confrontation with the Man-Bat. Immediately Nightwing visits Man-Bat's wife Francine Langstrom and offers his help. Back home, Dick walks by Tad Ryerstad and then speaks to his landlord Bridget Clancy. Once again he has to turn down her invitation to watch a movie together because he has other obligations. Shortly after Dick left a really huge person appears in front of Bridget and asks her about a free room to rent. It takes several hours of observation until Nightwing finds Man-Bat. Nightwing attacks Man-Bat and tries to capture him, but then both are shot down by none other than Deathstroke ...
